Nelda Zuercher Obituary
Nelda J. Zuercher, 84, of Mt. Cory, passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at Good Samaritan Society, Arlington.
She was born Sept. 3, 1938, to Orval and Velma L. (Wolfrom) Clymer, who preceded her in death. Nelda was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kenneth E. Zuercher, on April 7, 1961, and he survives in Mt. Cory.
Nelda worked at Triplet in Bluffton and then retired after 25 years at Cory-Rawson Schools. Her favorite pastimes were cross stitching, working outside in her yard, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Nelda is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; two sons, Eric "Rick" (Toni) Zuercher of Mt. Cory and Robert "Rob" (Teresa) Zuercher of Jenera; three grandsons, Jacob Zuercher of Mt. Cory, and Nathan and Brandon Zuercher, both of Jenera; sister, Trena (Gerald) Moyer of Mt. Cory; brother-in-law, Richard Marquart of Lima; and sisters-in-law, Marlene Clymer of Arlington, Carol (Lynn) Wynkoop of Amherst, and Sally (Jerry) Borer of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Clymer; and sister, Donna Marquart.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jessica, Marcia, and Kaitlyn of Bridge Hospice and the staff at Good Samaritan Nursing Home for their kindness and wonderful care they gave Nelda over the last couple months.
Nelda's care has been entrusted to HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). A private graveside rite will be at a later date.
