Michelle Gray

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle Gray, 62, of Findlay, on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, after a long illness. Michelle was staying at The Heritage under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Michelle was born in Oakhill, West Virginia. She graduated high school in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Business School in Long Island, New York.

She started working for Perfect Equipment in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and had various positions in production and supervision. She also had positions in retail as a salesperson which she enjoyed very much.

She is survived by her mother, J. LaVerne (Johnson) Atkinson; stepfather, Santo L. Atkinson; daughter, Amethyst Gray; granddaughter, Calliope Gray; brother, Jerrid Atkinson; sister, Sameda Atkinson; uncles, Rudolph (Vera) Johnson and Richard (Samara) Johnson; and many other relatives and family friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Robert Gray; grandparents, Jack and Albert Johnson; and uncles, Sylvester and Jack Johnson Jr.

Michelle enjoyed traveling and doing crafts. She always had a kind word and wonderful smile for anyone she would meet or call a friend.

The family will be conducting a celebration of life for Michelle in Murfreesboro, Tennessee in the very near future. The location, time, and date will be forthcoming soon.

The family of Michelle Gray wishes to express heartfelt gratitude for flowers, emails, food, visits, and all other acts of kindness rendered to and for us during the illness and passion of our loved one.
