Michael Sturgess Obituary
Michael Darrell "Mike" Sturgess, 74, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 12, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to Vernon Darrell and Margret (Hooks) Sturgess. He married Paula Sue (Greene) on Aug. 9, 1978, and she survives.
Mike proudly served in U.S. Army from March 17, 1970 until January 8, 1972. Mike retired from Cooper Tire in Findlay, having spent the last part of his career as a tow-motor operator. Above all, Mike cherished spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed collecting many different things and will be remembered for his funny and sarcastic personality.
In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his children, Brad (Susan) Sturgess and Kristy (Alden) McBride; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Linda (Harold) Spence, Merle (Hal) Boles, and Sherry Hough.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Michael S. Dilgard.
At Mike's request, all services will be private.

I remember Mike from Junior High, always smiling and friendly.. Just a really sweet guy. I'm sorry to hear of his passing and send condolences to his family...May God rest his soul.
