Melissa Rodriguez Obituary
Melissa Ann Rodriguez, 45, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
She was born Aug. 21, 1978, in Findlay, to Mike and Connie (Leisure) Misamore.
Melissa is survived by her parents; three children, Benjamin and Evelynn Rodriguez, both of Findlay, and Irene Rodriguez of Columbus; and brother, Shawn Misamore of Findlay.
She received her bachelor's degree in Education at Pensacola Christian College in Florida and was a school teacher at a Christian school in Hawaii and an online educator to foreign and domestic students, teaching English to young children. Melissa's greatest love was her Lord and Savior and her three children. She loved teaching Sunday School to preschoolers at Trinity Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, until the time of Melissa's memorial service at 11 a.m., both at Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 Co Rd 236, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Pastor Ben Jennings will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Patient Services, 1800 N. Blanchard St. #120, Findlay, Ohio, 45840, or Trinity Baptist Church.

I always loved seeing Mellissa come in for scans and treatment. As a CT TECH we don't get to get close with a lot of our patients, but Mellissa for some reason I felt a connection with. It's like a friend I never got to know in life or a girl that could have been a sister to me. I always liked to make her smile when she came in. The last time she came in I was asking about her kids and talking with her mom. I know the kids were having a really really hard time. I hope they know she was such a rare light in this dark world that God really needed her to be an angel to help others. She was put on earth to have her children and see them grow but was called home too early. My heart goes out to them!!!! I truly feel we lost a treasured soul. I will miss seeing her and look forward to seeing her again one day. Love you girl!

Melissa was a teen when I was her pastor. She was a sweetheart then and I´m sure she remained so her entire life! I am so sorry for your great loss. I pray God will wrap His arms of love around all of you! Blessings from Above!
