Mark Hummel Obituary

Mark Lee Hummel

Mark Lee Hummel, 61, of Perrysburg passed away at 12:22 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green.

He was born Feb. 20, 1961, to the late Nevlin L. Sr. and Carol S. (Holmes) Hummel. Mark was raised by his loving late grandparents, Howard and LaDonna Hummel.

Mark is survived by his brothers, Scott, Jeff, and Nevlin Hummel Jr.; sisters, Dawn Hummel-Brown and Laura Hummel-Greeno; aunt, Cathy (Don) Long; uncles, David (Debbie) Hummel and Michael (Alice) Hummel; guardian and cousin, John (Kim) Vaughn; special cousin, Richard Vaughn; numerous other cousins; and friends and housemates, David, Charlie, and Mike.

Mark worked many years at Wood Lane Industries in Bowling Green. He was a graduate of Elmwood High School. He was an artist and loved Ford Mustangs, working on cars, and playing dominoes, checkers, and most any other game.

A celebration of Mark's life will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, at Wood County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge, Bowling Green (inside the fairgrounds), where a potluck dinner will take place for family and friends during this time. In honor of Mark, no meatloaf please!

Burial will be at Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township, at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Bowling Green. Online condolences may be expressed at www.smithcrates.com.
