Mark Dysinger Obituary

Mark S. Dysinger

Mark S. Dysinger went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 12:30 p.m. MT Monday, April 8, 2024, during the eclipse.

He had hundreds of friends who adored and respected him. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served City of Findlay as a firefighter from which he retired. Injuries sustained during the Vietnam War from exposure to the bio-engineered herbicide, Agent Orange, used to kill the thick vegetation, caused the many ailments he suffered from and eventually took his life. He loved playing golf, but his real passion was pool and he was well-known as a master pool player.

He was born Dec. 9, 1948, in Findlay, to Scott L. and Margaret J. Dysinger. He had two sons, Joshua M. Dysinger (deceased) and Luke A. Dysinger, who survives.

He is also survived by two granddaughters that were the light of his life, Cidney (Eli Taylor) Dysinger and Kyra Dysinger; mother of his children who he stayed close to, Reggie Stahl; siblings, Scott Dysinger, David (Susan) Dysinger, Jane (Terry) Lawrence, Mary (Joe) Dysinger Franklin, Chris (Jim) Tripodi, Jerry (Phyllis) Dysinger, Gina Dysinger, and Carol (Ed) Oler; niece very special to his heart, Emily Dysinger; and many other nieces and nephews he adored.

A celebration of his life will be in Findlay at a later date.
