Magline Forshee, age 89 of Franklin, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at her residence. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 2pm at Crafton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Monday and after 6am Tuesday at the funeral home. A native of Allen County, she was the daughter of the late Vivian Estes Thompson and Lassie Cox Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Dewey Forshee, brother – Grover Thompson and nephew Steven Thompson. She was a member of Drakes Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was active in the AARP, the Red Cross and was a 1956 graduate of Franklin Simpson High School. Magline was retired from the former Potter & Brumfield. Survivors include her children – Gary Forshee of Murfreesboro, TN, Kevin Forshee (Lori) of Franklin and Lori Seaton (Lan) of Milton, Florida; nephew – Oliver Thompson of Florida; grandchildren – Jacob Forshee of Franklin, Rachel McElroy (Cullen) of Franklin, Leland Seaton of Milton, FL and Nicholas Seaton of Milton, FL; 2 great grandchildren – Carson and Beckett McElroy.
