Lorraine Fitch

Lorraine Fitch, 72, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, with her loving husband of almost 51 years, Bill, by her side.

Lorraine was born June 26, 1950, in Greentree, Pennsylvania, to Adam and Elinore (Griffin) Lach. She married the love of her life, William Fitch, whom she met in college, on May 27, 1972, in Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania, and he survives in Findlay.

Lorraine is also survived by two children, Jarid (Brock) Fitch and Christina Eicher; and siblings, Chris Boetticher, Ray Lach, Veronica Rubic, Mary Lou O'Malley, and Susan Majersky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ron Lach.

Lorraine received her Master's Degree and Certificate of Competence in Speech Therapy from Clarion University. She was a speech therapist who worked all around the United States, mainly in Punxsutawney and Warren, Pennsylvania; Benton, Arkansas; Chicago, Illinois; and Findlay. She retired after 42 years. Lorraine was a faithful member of St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay, and enjoyed watching reality TV and Fox News, and doing sudoku, puzzles, and crafts, especially making dolls and needlepoint. Lorraine and her beloved husband Bill were inseparable. Everywhere one was, you could find the other. Lorraine and Bill also enjoyed going around Findlay playing Pokémon Go, an activity where they made a lot of friendships.

Lorraine's graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at St. Michaels Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Hanneman Funeral Home, Findlay.
