Happy Birthday!

Dear Les, You remain on this Earthly plane, in all our hearts. Thank you for making such a positive impact on the world.

Les had been on my mind because I had not heard from him in awhile. So I started searching and found that he had passed. I´m so sad to hear this. He was such a special person. Always helpful and ready to reach out with a kind word. He remembered everyone and always shared his love. He will truly be missed but I know he is in heaven with his family. Such a shame to lose such a special soul but I believe he is an angel looking out for us all and keeping us in line. Love you Les! I´m lucky to have worked with you and to have known you personally.

So many memories of Leslie in band and over the years. RIP, my friend.

Les has been a good friend for my whole life. This world will be a little emptier. I have never a more faithful friend. I miss you

I worked with Les and I was not very good with the computer. So I would drive him crazy with question, but he was always patient with me. I also enjoyed our conversations on messenger. Wish we could have one more conversation with you. Enjoy heaven with you Mom and Dad.

I will miss Lester Lute. We had some great times and many long talks solving all the world´s problems, especially during our time in Chicago working for APL. I remember everyone would look forward to your cookies after you stayed up baking all night. You were a good person and I will always hold a special place for you in my heart.

I will never forger you Les. Thank you for your kindness. Rest easy my friend.

Lester was an inspirational coworker. He demonstrated the highest levels of commitment to task, every day. I was so impressed with his willingness to devote so much time and energy to insure the project he was working on, would be the best possible, and exceed all expectations. As a friend and family member, he was equally dedicated, and shepherded all relationships with sincerity and love . He will be missed by all.

Lester was a co-worker in Portland, Oregon, and a friend over these past 42+ years. Les was known for his baked goods; active actor in our local theatre; friendly inclusiveness; loyal friendships.
I had a 'hole in one' once, which was a freak accident - and it was Les who was my witness. A pleasant nine holes shortly after he relocated with the former N&W railroad. And it was Les and I who took our manager to Darcelle's (drag show) for his birthday. And it was Les who would remember the little things that make us all feel important...
I am saddened, as Les is one of many friends and family members who have passed in recent years due to health crisis. But I will see him again...

Les made the world a better place just by being in it. He was one of those everyday angels, and we know he's getting a hero's welcome in heaven from the real ones.

I can't say enough about what a terrific friend and co-worker Les was, and what a shock it was to hear of his passing. I' still having trouble accepting that such a wonderful individual is gone. Friendly, hard working, humorous, dependable...the list goes on about his many positive personal attributes. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Lester´s family. Lester was one of my music students at Bluffton College. I Lester was one of the most giving and enthusiastic students. I really appreciated all that he juggled with work and studies. We only became reacquainted this last year. It is obvious that he had many friends and a zest for life. He will be missed by many. RIP Les, I am sure you are organizing a heavenly choir now. God Bless.
