Leanne N. Silvers

Leanne Nancy Silvers, 58, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center after a short intense battle with cancer. Leanne was born Jan. 4, 1964, to Kenneth J. and Nancy L. (Lucas) Baerwaldt and grew up in Findlay. Leanne married Scott Silvers in Oct., 1989, and he survives.

Leanne graduated from Findlay High School in 1982 and went onto Bowling Green State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising. While at BGSU, she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. For 36 years, she worked in retail and customer service, working at Kohl's for 16 years and prior to that, she worked at Bennett's Furniture in McComb. She was also a member of VFW in McComb.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved parents, Kenneth and Nancy; and loving husband, Scott. She was a loving mother to two sons, Zachary and Kyle Silvers; and the best grandmother to her grandson, Liam Silvers. Leanne leaves behind a brother, Richard (Jenn) Baerwaldt; sister, Lynn (Tom) Fees; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Herman and Lizzie Baerwaldt; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Evaline Lucas.

Friends and family may visit from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500), with Leanne's memorial service beginning at 12 p.m. Pastor Cathy Davis and Pastor Dan Huther will officiate the service.
