Leah Feay Obituary

Leah E. Feay

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Leah E. Feay (Nordin) July 28, 2025, in Findlay, at the age of 83. She was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, April 20, 1942.

Leah started working at a grocery store chain in Sioux Falls, and then moved to Quincy, California, to own and operate El Torito Loco for 10 years. After selling the restaurant, Leah decided she wasn't quite ready to retire, so she joined another grocery store chain and soon became the head clerk, a position she held until she decided to cut back on hours. She finally retired after 20 years at the age of 77.

Leah is survived by her three children, Douglas (Karen) Feay of Findlay, Rhonda Lunder of Findlay and Renee (William) Sullivan of Oakdale, Minnesota. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Douglas II, Shonic, Shay, Shelby and Dakota; and seven great-grandchildren.

Leah was preceded in death by the love of her life, Terry Feay, six weeks prior. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sybil Grooms;, and her parents, Borghild and Clarence Nordin.

She was a wonderful mother who always baked the favorites for each one of her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She was looking forward to finding her new purpose in life and will be missed by many family and friends.

Memorial service for Leah will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2025, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Findlay. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Memorials can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1009 Blanchard Ave, Findlay, OH 45840.
