Her thirst for knowledge did not stop there; she later achieved an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Findlay, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth.
Kim was a giant in the field of probation and court administration. Kim's career began when she started with Hancock County Common Pleas Court in July of 1990 as an intensive supervision probation officer.
Kim's vision, dedication, hard work, and passion for helping People allowed her to rise through the ranks, achieving the first dual leadership position with the Court as Director of Court Services/Chief Probation Officer in January of 2002. Kim was instrumental in leading the Court and Adult Probation Department through major disasters such as COVID-19 Pandemic and historic Findlay flood of 2007 that destroyed the Adult Probation Department.
Kim was well respected statewide and nationally. Kim was in leadership with many professional organizations which included Ohio Chief Probation Officer's Association, Hancock Leadership, Ohio Association of Court Administration, W.O.R.T.H. Kim had a passion for education and served as instructor and presenter at the Ohio Supreme Court-Judicial College, Owens Community College and the University of Findlay.
Outside of her professional role, Kimberly was involved in numerous civic and charitable efforts, continually seeking ways to uplift and support her community. She had a warm presence, quick wit, and steady wisdom that left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
As an organ donor recipient, Kimberly held a deep appreciation for the gift of life. She often spoke with humility and gratitude about the second chance she was given, encouraging others to register and share the same life-saving gift.
