Kenneth "Ken" Phoenix

Kenneth L. "Kenny" Phoenix, 58, of Carey, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at his residence.

Kenny was born Feb. 25, 1966, the son of Sandra Phoenix. He married Sherri Buckingham and she preceded him in death June 11, 2001. He then married Danielle Giesey on Feb. 15, 2002, and she survives in Carey.

He is also survived by his children, Tyler (Natalie) Phoenix, Codi (Greg Wolfram) Giesey, Trae (Tabitha Yonts) Cusac, Trevor (Katie) Phoenix, Sarah Phoenix, Tyler (Nicole) Cusac, and Trent Phoenix; and 10 grandchildren, Tripp, Bella, Ruby, Emma, Ellie, Theo, Thomas, Lennon, Scarlet, and Lilah.

Kenny was a 1985 graduate of Findlay High School and worked as a concrete mason for Ogg Construction. He later worked for Whitta Construction as a laborer and welder. Kenny loved bowling, woodworking, and target shooting. Kenny was a jokester with a goofy sense of humor. Kenny was selfless, reliable, and would help anyone in a time of need. But more than anything, Kenny loved his family. He was very supportive in all their activities and truly loved every moment he had with them.

A time to gather and celebrate Kenny's life will be 2-6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Venue 18, 11295 W. State Route 18, Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.
