Kelly Ann (Meyers) Adams

With the deepest sadness and heart break we announce Kelly Ann (Meyers) Adams, 59, of Daytona Beach, Florida, formally of Findlay, has lost her courageous battle with cancer. Kelly passed away Monday morning, February 17, 2025, with her husband, Donny, holding her hand.

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Silver Tombaugh;g randparents, Chester and Maryann Greeno and Eddie and Madeline Meyers. She was also preceded in death by her beloved uncle Dan (Danny) Greeno.

Kelly is survived by the love of her life, Donny Adams; sister, Jane Meyers-Greiner; nephew and niece, Julian Viera III and Silver Viera; best friend and caretaker, Barb Burton; and her cats, Willow, Louie, and Thelma.

Kelly was born April 6, 1965, in Findlay. She graduated from Findlay High School in 1983. Kelly worked at Whirlpool and then moved to Florida, where she worked as a waitress/bartender for several years before returning to Findlay to be close to family.

Kelly and Donny married March 24, 2006.

Kelly worked with family as a supervisor at New Vision from 2010-2018. She was diagnosed with Cancer in 2013.

After battling cancer for years, she eventually returned to her happy place in Daytona Beach, Florida, to be near the ocean in 2020.

Kelly was blessed with lots of great friends and cousins throughout her life that she stayed in touch with until her final days. Many friends and family visited Kelly in Florida taking turns catching up, sharing laughs and taking lots of photos. Kelly was devoted to her friends and family and often mailed Florida trinkets to all her loved ones. She always kept herself busy and could be found painting her bathroom, remodeling her kitchen and rearranging her decor. She loved cats, sun tanning, and walking on the beach collecting shells.

Kellys wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes spread in the ocean.

A memorial will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday April 6, 2025, her birthday, at The Fern Cafe.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Donny, Jane and all of Kelly´s family and friends. Kelly was fiercely devoted to her loves like a mamma bear. She was passionate about helping people and animals and cared about social issues. Kelly´s the kind of person the world needs more of. Her strong and loving spirit will always be with us. And Kelly was so fun. Does anybody remember laughter? Well, Kelly would have you cracking up like forever teenagers. She could lift you out of a funk instantly. I miss you, friend! But I feel her presence in the sky and sunshine, in all things naturally beautiful like her spirit. Love Always, Susie

I´m so sad to se the news of the passing of Kelly. I met Kelly at Glenwood in the ninth grade. I moved to Findlay near the end of the school year. It´s not easy to make new friends but Kelly and another friend, Jodi, took me in and we had so much fun together. I didn´t have a dress for our Freshman `prom´, but Kelly let me borrow one she had! Summer and our sophmore year at Findlay High sent is in different directions, so I really didn´t get to hang out with her much after that. She was so sweet and had a great laugh and beautiful smile. I have no doubt of the blessing she was to many and I send my deepest sympathy to all of her loved ones. Karin (Smith) Johnson

Kelly, thank you for everything that you´ve done for everybody most of all for loving my son unconditionally as I know the feeling was mutual from him. You were the apple of his eye, and the bond that you shared was the most beautiful thing ever. I know you are still by his side and will be forever. you will be forever loved and missed, and your wings are beautiful just as you are.

Kelly was our cousin and worked with us at New Vision, She was always very organized and always ready to have fun. I spent a lot of time with her before she moved back to Florida and we had many laughs with each other and our friends at work. She used to bring me vegetable soup and it was the best! We miss you so much Kelly, but I know you are with your Mom and Dad and uncle Danny and not to mention- Jesus.

My Sincere Condolences to Donny, Jane, your family, friends & your 3 fur babies. As you already know, Kelly was loved by so many people. Even when she was fighting cancer herself, she was always asking how we were doing. Kelly was truly a genuine friend. She is a beautiful soul & we will never forget her kindness.
