Kathleen Darke Obituary

Kathleen Cecilia "Kat" (Karcher) Darke

Kathleen "Kat" Drake, 51, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at Carecore Nursing Home, Lima, after a long battle with lung cancer.

She was born April 17, 1973, in Fremont, to Airman 1st Class Robert Karcher Jr. and Cynthia (Keefe) Karcher.

Kat is survived by her parents; brother, Robert III (Marsha); children, Staci (Mike) Ripley of Lima, Trisha (Tyler) Bennett of Kewanna, Indiana, and Tyler Karcher and Ryan Karcher, both of Lima; 11 grandchildren; and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Eileen Karcher and Louis and Regina Keefe.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Rita's Hospice.
