Katherine K. "Kathy" Taylor

Katherine K. Taylor, 64, of Findlay, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:23 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born Aug. 3, 1957, to George F. and Alice Mae (Heuberger) Waldman. Kathy met the love of her life Jeff Taylor in August of 1972, they were later married May 21, 1977, and he survives. They were inseparable for almost 50 years.

Kathy was a 1976 graduate from Liberty-Benton High School. She worked at Liberty-Benton Schools for 28 years.

She is also survived by her sons, Nick (Amy) Taylor of Mt. Cory, Luke (Heather) Taylor of Rawson, and Trent (Allyson) Taylor of Ottawa; father, George Waldman of Benton Ridge; two brothers, Paul (Carol) Waldman of Mt. Cory and Rusty (Melissa) Waldman of Rawson; and grandchildren, Quinn Taylor, Marissa Taylor, Samantha Taylor, and Emma Taylor. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Mae Waldman in May of 2021; and sister, Sandra Settlemire in October of 2019.

Kathy was known as a kind, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter to her family and all who knew her. She loved to camp, ride motorcycles, take golf cart rides, drive her Jeep, and love her family. She will be greatly missed.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 105 Main St., Benton Ridge, Ohio, with the Rev. Hiltibran officiating. Burial will be private.
