Karen A. Ewing

Karen A. (McCormick) Ewing, 62, of Findlay passed away at 11:54 p.m. Tuesday July 5, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born May 2, 1960, in West Bend, Wisconsin, to the late James and Kathleen McCormick.

Karen is survived by her life partner, Mike Sowers; children, Josh (Deidre) Ewing and Stephanie (Mark) Butler; brothers, Ken, Kevin, and Tim McCormick; and one grandchild on the way, Clint Ewing.

Karen proudly served her country in the Marine Corps for over 15 years. She enjoyed walking, running, biking, and crafting in her free time. Karen had a sweet spot for German Shepherds.

Visitation for Karen will be Friday, July 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay. Karen's funeral will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Gregory officiating. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery with full military honors.

Memorial contributions may be made to Karen's family.
