John Murlas Obituary

John Murlas, beloved son of Nicholas and Mary Lou Murlas (both deceased), brother to Joan Karafotas (deceased), brother-in-law to Phillip Karafotas and uncle to Paul Karafotas, Joanna Karafotas and Peter Karafotas. John was sweet and kind to everyone – always a conversationalist. He had a passion for movies in general, but his specialty was rattling off old movie titles including the year it came out and who won best actor or best picture. He also loved his food! He loved Greek food especially. You could always find him at a Greek festival checking out the sweets table despite his efforts of trying to be "good" and eat healthy. As his nephews and niece fondly remember, their Uncle John would always be humming a song even in the last days of his life. May his memory be eternal.
