John Badertscher Obituary
John M. Badertscher, 52, of Risingsun, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green.
He was born Jan. 15, 1971, in Kenton, to Charles "Leroy" and Margaret "Peggy" Badertscher. He married Melissa Huff on Sept. 9, 2019, in Risingsun.
John is survived by his father, Leroy Badertscher of Roundhead; wife, Melissa Badertscher of Risingun; sons, Jacob and Lucas Badertscher, both of Findlay; stepson, Joseph (Kamille) Huff Jr. of Weston; stepdaughters, Sabrina (Joe) Lucius of Kansas and Courtney (Kelly Gierhart) Caudill of Taylorsville, Kentucky; brothers, Chuck (Melinda) Badertscher and Doug (Stephanie) Badertscher; stepgrandchildren, Ryland and Cole Lucius and Blair Huff; and sister-in-law, Heather Badertscher.
John was preceded in death by his mother; and brother, Mark Badertscher.
John worked as a millwright for Whirlpool, Findlay. He was a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School and attended secondary education. John was well-known for his love of golfing. The family request those attending his visitation or funeral to wear golf attire.
Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. John's funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Wendelin Cemetery, Fostoria.
Memorials can be made to Bridge Hospice.
