Idah Kramer Obituary
MOTT -- Idah A. Kramer, 96, Mott, died Dec. 8, 2002, in a Mandan care center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. MST today at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mott, with the Rev. Michael Nahas officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyslope Cemetery, Mott.
She was born March 25, 1906, at Old Leipzig, N.D., to Christine (Barth) and Fred Hintz. She was raised and educated in Mott and graduated from Mott Lincoln High School in 1925 and was employed by the White City Mercantile in Mott. She married Earl G. Kramer on Oct. 16, 1934, in Mott.
Prior to making Mott their permanent home, they lived in Spearfish, S.D., and Dickinson. She was employed by Borth's Clothing Store for many years prior to her retirement. She worked in Earl's oil business, sheep ranch and the Hettinger County Sheriff's office. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Order of Eastern Star and TOPS.
Grateful to have shared her life are her sons and their wives, Charles and Judy, Harrison, Idaho, and Jim and Linda, Bismarck; very special family friends, Marlene and Ray Zent, Mott; eight grandchildren, Jon Kramer, Minneapolis, Suzie Kramer-Brenna, Mandan, Joel (Olivia) Kramer, Rio Rico, Ariz., Kim Kramer-Beiber and Karla Kramer, both of Bismarck, Kristen Kramer, Frostproof, Fla., Richard (Maren) Kramer, St. Paul, Minn., and Rebecca (Jeremy) Johnson, Fargo; nine great-grandchildren, Lara Brenna, Mandan, Alexis and Kaeleb Kramer, both of Rio Rico, Ashley and Kendra Beiber and Geoffrey Kramer, all of Bismarck, Joshua Kramer, St. Paul, and Dillon, Faith and Grace Johnson, all of Fargo; and nine nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Earl; their son, Dr. Jack Kramer; her brothers, Otto Hintz, Harry Hintz and Emil Hintz; her sisters, Rose Moore and Ella Mees; and her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Because of His death on the cross and His resurrection, she is in the dwelling place He has prepared for her. Thanks be to God! (Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Mott)
