Helen M. Roberts

Helen Marie Roberts, 79, of Findlay, peacefully drifted into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

She was born Dec. 18, 1943, in Columbus, the daughter of Joseph and Helen M. (Young) Alexander. Helen married Bob Roberts on Feb. 22, 1969, and he survives.

Helen was a graduate of Thompson High School in Bellevue. She enjoyed fishing, reading, playing cards, and shopping for good deals. Helen was a member of Moose Lodge 698 of Findlay. She was a great hairstylist and worked at Kohl's Distribution Center before retiring. Above all, Helen loved spending time with family and friends.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Bob, of 54 years; son, Shayne Roberts of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; granddaughter, Katy Roberts; daughter-in-law, Gwen Roberts; brother, Larry Alexander; sisters, Alice Ruetz and Wilma (Rodney) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim Alexander, Frank Alexander, Wayne Alexander, Vince Alexander, Tommy Alexander, Bud Alexander, Bill Alexander, and Dick Alexander; and sisters, JoAnn Pasko, Patricia Alexander, and Maude Alexander.

Visitation for friends and family will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Helen's funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the funeral home with Deacon Dave Gerardi officiating.
