Harry E. Fifolt

Harry E. Fifolt, 79, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at Bridge Hospice surrounded by family.

Harry was born April 6, 1943, in Muskegon, Michigan, to the late William and Opal (Rowland) Fifolt.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his two brothers, John and Howard.

In his free time, you could find Harry reading, fishing, playing bridge, and spending time with his family. Harry was known for his storytelling and loved to tell jokes.

Harry loved to travel. He and his wife, Ann, traveled all over the United States in their motor home. They also enjoyed going on vacations and cruises with their friends and family.

Harry graduated from Muskegon High School in 1961. After graduation from Western Michigan University in 1965, he taught math at East Grand Rapids Middle School for 32 years.

Harry married Ann (Burns) on Aug. 13, 1966, and they shared their lives together for 56 years. He will be deeply missed by his wife; two children, Mindy (Todd) Worst of Carey and Matt (Staci) Fifolt of Leeds, Alabama; and three grandchildren, Joanna, Dana, and Sarah Grace.

A celebration of Harry's life will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at First Lutheran Church, 109 East Lincoln Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Visitation will be 11-11:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Lutheran/Community Dinners.
