LaDonna Jolliff Obituary

LaDonna M. Jolliff

LaDonna Marie (Fulton) Jolliff, 87, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 7:10 a.m. at Bridge Hospice. She was born October 25, 1938, at the family farm in Dunkirk, to the late Carl and Ester (Bash) Fulton. On June 29, 1958, she married Norman E. Jolliff, and they shared almost 63 years together until his passing in 2021.

LaDonna was a 1956 graduate of Hardin Northern High School and an active 4-H member. She continued her involvement with 4-H as an adult, serving as a sewing leader for more than 15 years in Hardin County, Ohio, and Lenawee County, Michigan, and as the 4-H sewing superintendent for the Lenawee County Fair for six years. For many years, she was consigned to make custom draperies, working out of her home. Her sewing skills also turned her into an award-winning quilter and seamstress at many county fairs and quilt shows.

After her children were older, she entered the workforce as an office manager, then moved to the accounting department at the local car dealership in Clinton, Michigan. After a move to Salem, Indiana, she was the administrative assistant for Champion Century 21 Real Estate, where she retired in 2003. While in Indiana, LaDonna was a member of Pekin United Methodist Church and served on several boards. As a 1996 graduate of Awareness Washington County, Indiana, she was a charter organizer of Washington County Big Brothers/Big Sisters and served on the Executive Board of Jackson, Scott, and Washington Counties Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

LaDonna loved traveling, working in her flower and vegetable gardens and teaching others how to sew.

LaDonna is survived by daughters, Barbara (Paul) Gehring of Clayton, Michigan and Brenda (Mark) Alliman of McComb; brother, Gene (Sharon) Fulton, Kenton; sisters, Sandra Fulton, Honolulu, Hawaii; Marlene Callender, Wauseon; Sharlene (Jerry) Shepherd, Richwood; Bonnie (Perry Nicholson) Fulton, Loudon, Tennessee; brothers-in-law, Bob Hayes, Dunkirk and Jeff Abner, Monroeville; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her infant son, Monty; sisters, Beverly Hayes and Jeanine Abner; and brother-in-law, Maury Callender.

Visitation will be fro 10-11 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Chaplain Linda Davison officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery in Vanlue.
