Harley Woodard Obituary
Harley Dwayne "Woody" Woodard, 92, of Palmetto, Florida, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his home.
Woody formerly resided in Arlington and Findlay. He was a member of Arlington Methodist Church where he sang in the choir for 12 years.
Harley was born April 20, 1931, in Falls City, Nebraska, to Benjamin and Evelyn (Cornford) Woodard. He married Shirley Jean (Lawrence) on June 26, 1953, and she preceded him in death Aug. 10, 2002.
Harley is survived by two sons, Dwayne R. (Gail) Woodard of Largo, Florida, and Craig A. (Patty) Woodard of Arlington; daughter, Andrea K. (Gilles) Arditi of Bradenton, Florida; and 15 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, Dennis J. Woodard and Michael L. (Georgia Sue) Woodard, both of Silsbee Texas; and two grandchildren.
Harley served in U.S. Navy in Cuba and Korea. He worked as a power company linesman, auto body repairman, and oil derrick hand for Rowan Oil Company.
The family would like to thank the Mary Pilchak family for the kindness and love they showed their father.

In 1983, he walked me down the aisle for my wedding. I am sorry to see that Dennis, Mike and Shirley have all passed too. Rest in Peace.
