Gwendolyn A. Pever

Gwendolyn A. "Gwen" Pever, 71, of Upper Sandusky, passed away Thursday evening, Aug. 22, 2024, at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky.

She was born Feb. 20, 1953, in Fostoria, to Edward and Thelma "Faye" (Worst) House, who preceded her in death. She married Kenneth Pever on Sept. 4, 1976, in Carey, and he survives.

She is also survived by her children, Tonia (Kevin) Welker of Mt. Vernon, Keith (Michelle) Pever of Marysville, and Kevin (Tracy Peters, fiancé) Pever of Upper Sandusky; seven grandchildren, Wade and Cole Brown, Grant Welker, Lukas and Laney Pever, and Emma and Jacob Pever; and three sisters, Eileen (Ron) Wentling of Napoleon, Luanne (Donny) Webb of Munford, Tennessee, and Jodi House of Brighton, Tennessee.

Gwen graduated from Carey High School in 1971.

Gwen was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.

For hobbies, she enjoyed collecting M&M memorabilia, going antiquing, doing White Mountain Puzzles, listening to Jimmy Buffett, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Gwen's graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at Wharton Richland Union Cemetery with Pastor Cynthia Morrison officiating. Following the graveside service, Gwen's celebration of life gathering will be 2:30-5 p.m. at the Family Life Center at John Stewart Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky.

Memorials may be made to the Crawford Church and can be sent to Lucas Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
