Grace C. Lane

Grace C. Lane, 84, of Ada, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at Meadows of Kalida.

She was born Aug. 5, 1938, to the late John and Dorothy Jenkins. She married Reece M. Lane on Nov. 23, 1957, and he preceded her in death Oct. 31, 2019.

Grace is survived by two sons and a daughter, Scott (Ruth) Lane of Kalida, Steven (Gail) Lane of Rockford, Illinois, and Patricia (Roy) Stephens of Lima; five grandchildren, Cory (Ben) Maag, Rachel (Andrew) Zuercher, Jessica (Casey) Danner, Georgette Lane, and Reece Stephens; five great-grandchildren, Madisyn Maag, Lawson Maag, Dillan Krohn, Raegan Krohn, and Mason Zuercher; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by four siblings, Robert Jenkins, Austin Jenkins, Harold Jenkins, and Dorothy Baker.

Grace was a 1956 graduate of Findlay High School. She worked until 1974 when they relocated to Dunkirk and became a stay-at-home mom. She was an accomplished seamstress, crocheting towels to gift to her family and friends. Grace enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and vegetables. She was also very involved with Union Chapel Missionary Church in Lima. Grace was always willing to chip in to help with whatever needed done.

Grace's funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
