Gerald "Mike" McKitrick

Gerald "Mike" Lee McKitrick, 85, of Forest, passed away at The Manor at Greendale Friday, August 15, 2025. He was born August 3, 1940, in Findlay, to Kenneth and Ocie (Miller) McKitrick.

Mike was self-employed in the construction business, owning Mike's Siding. He enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, playing cards, driving, watching westerns, going to flea markets, and animals.

Those left behind to cherish Mike's memory are his children, Gerald "Jerry" Murphy, Bryon (Tawney Phillips) Murphy, Jennifer DiBacco, Nadine (Kevin) Hershey, and Elizabeth Scott; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Darlean (John) Chitwood and Thomas (Dee) McKitrick.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Andrew Laureano; great-grandchild, Matthew Shuster; son-in-law, Joseph DiBacco; and siblings, Dale McKitrick, Jack McKitrick, Samuel (Toby) McKitrick, Frank McKitrick, Joseph McKitrick, and Twila George.

Family and friends may visit from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500).
