Sympathy to family. I worked with Gary at Findlay Digital Academy- always enjoyed talking to him. He did a great job as a teacher, principal and mentor to many students over the years.

Butch started his teaching career in his hometown, Olney, Illinois. I was in his first class, 7th grade math. He moved to 8th grade math the next year. He was a great teacher and a great person. I hope his family will remember all the wonderful times they spent with him. Rest in peace.

Gary was an amazing teacher for not only knew his content but he knew how to get the kids to understand it. But more importantly he care about each student. He was the best math teacher I encountered in my 50 years in education. I was thrilled that he had my daughter, Tara, as a student. I enjoyed having Gary as a colleague and friend. He touched the world and made it better. He will be missed. My most heartfelt sympathy.
