Gary Beach Obituary
Gary L. Beach, 80 of Jenera passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born August 19, 1943, in Bluffton to the late John J. and Helen A. (Emans) Beach. Gary married Karen Kay Kraft Jan. 23, 1966, and she preceded him in death Jan. 3, 2022. He served his county in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mr. Beach retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 1997 after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his son, Gregory Scott Beach of Bronx, New York; and a daughter, DeAnna (Jeffrey) Kussmaul of Bluffton; two granddaughters, Mikaela (Eric) Schmidt, Carissa Kussmaul; a brother, Steven L. (Jean) Beach of Bluffton; a sister, Bonnie Hector of Findlay; and sister-in-law, Connie Beach of Findlay.
Gary was preceded in death by his brother, J. Kurt Beach; sisters, Jonna (Clair) Hartman, Jeanine (Cornelius) Hindall; and brother-in-law, Dale Hector.
He was a long-time member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. Gary also served on the Jenera Fire Department for over 30 years, with nine of those years as Fire Chief. He enjoyed camping and boating, especially at Dale Hollow Lake.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. service Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Southwestern Hancock Joint Fire District, 5000 County Road 37, Rawson, OH.

Gary was my first supervisor at Whirlpool back in 1973. He was a great guy. Always thanked his employees for a good night's work. Certainly one of the best I ever had in my 37 years at Whirlpool. Condolences to his family.
