Esther Beck Obituary
Esther Angeline Beck, 89, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born Aug. 1, 1934, in Pandora, the daughter of Paul Levere and Blanche Madeline (Young) Shulaw. She married Donald Dean Beck on Aug. 7, 1955, and he survives.
Esther's survivors also include her son, Donald E. (Lorie) Beck of Findlay; daughter-in-law, Ginger A. Chaffin-Beck of Findlay; seven grandchildren, Donald D. (Shannon) Beck, Tiffany Beck, Cassandra Hickey, Tabatha Beck, Matthew (Mirranda) Beck, Tanner Beck, and Dorotha (Jacob) Thomas; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy R. Beck; sister, Rosella Smith; brothers, Paul and Phillip Shulaw; and granddaughter, Krystal D. Beck.
Esther was a cook and waitress at various restaurants in Findlay, retiring from Pilgram Pancake House where she enjoyed cooking and serving others. Esther was a faithful member of Upper Room Church of God, Findlay.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, and 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, until the time of Esther's funeral at 11 a.m. at Upper Room Church of God, 520 W. Bigelow Ave., Findlay. Bishop Kenneth McBeath and Bishop Terry McBeath will officiate. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
