Eric J. Stroub

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eric John Stroub, beloved son, brother and uncle Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Eric was born October 21, 1966, in Bluffton. Raised in Mt. Cory, he was a 1985 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School, where he made many friends he truly loved and maintained contact with over the years. He went on to serve proudly in the United States Marine Corps.

He loved spending time with his cat, Levi, family and friends, walking, and riding his bike. He never met a stranger and loved talking to and helping people. His laughter was infectious, his jokes corny, and his energy and enthusiasm boundless.

Eric attended Church of the Living God in Findlay, where he grew in his faith and love for the Lord. Although Eric is gone too soon and leaves a deep void in our hearts, we take comfort that he is no longer suffering and is at peace. He is at home with Jesus and with his

grandparents, Frank and Helen Balister.

Eric is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Belinda Stroub; sisters, Minda (John) Roller and Heather (Brian) Reidling; niece, Erika Via; nephew, Zachary Reidling; great-nieces, Amara Via and Aurora Neal; aunts and uncles, Colin (Judy) Balister, Marlene Minch, Colleen Boehm, Tim (Liz) Stroub, Jeff (Rhonda) Noel and Bob (Beverly) Noel; cousins, Shawn Balister, Robyn Mahoney, Roderick Minch, Jocelyn Boehm, Jessica Boehm, John Thomas Cain, Missy Smith, Jesica Vealey, Jeffrey Noel, Haley Leaks, and Tyler Allen; and too many friends to name.

Friends and family may visit from 10-12 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Eric's funeral service will be at conclusion of visitation at noon in the funeral home, with Pastor Juan Salinas officiating. Interment will follow at Clymer Cemetery.
