Emilia Rosaura De La Pena

Emilia Rosaura De La Pena, 80, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Julio and Juanita (Peguero) De La Pena.

Emilia worked as a registered nurse in many hospitals throughout the United States, retiring from McKesson as a Senior Clinical Analyst. She was a devoted member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish in Findlay. Her greatest passions in life were traveling the world and baking.

Emilia is survived by her siblings, Arthur (Mary) Lerma and Julio (Jean) De La Pena; brothers-in-law, Denny Rissler and William Hall; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mario Lerma; and sisters, Sylvia Hall and Gracie Rissler.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, until the time of Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish, 750 Bright Road, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Burial will follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Findlay.

Contributions in Emilia's memory may be shared with St. Michael Catholic Parish Guadalupe Society.
