Edward "Eddie" Lynn Fisher

Edward "Eddie" Lynn Fisher, 83, of Mount Cory, passed away at his home Thursday, March 13, 2025. He was born October 30, 1941, in Bluffton to the late Dillon and Marian (Dukes) Fisher. Edward graduated from Liberty-Benton High School.

On July 14, 1968, he married Peggy (Gault) Fisher at Calvary United Methodist Church of Benton-Ridge, and they shared 56 years of marriage.

Edward's passions included being a loving husband, father, and grandfather, farming, and racing. He was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed racing his number 23 Chevys. He also enjoyed carpentry and worked with his brother, Gordon, at Gordon Fisher Builder, Inc. He was a volunteer fireman for Blanchard Township for 15 years.

He loved deer hunting in Pennsylvania and snowmobiling in Michigan. He plowed snow for Blanchard Township, notably during the 1978 blizzard, and assisted community members during that time.

Edward is survived by his wife, Peggy; three children, Kevin (Tonya) Fisher of Findlay, Kari Parker of Rawson, and Chris Fisher of Findlay; and six grandchildren, Megan Fisher, Cole Fisher, Justin Parker, Mady Parker, Taylor (Joseph) Lazuta, and Dillon Fisher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dillon and Marian Fisher; brothers, Gordon Fisher and Roger Fisher; and great-granddaughter, Ella Rosalie Parker.

Visitation and services will be private.
