Earl T. Hammer

Earl T. Hammer, 81, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

He was born Dec. 27, 1942, the son of Clarence J. and Eunice (Penn) Hammer. He married Nancy McKinnis and she preceded him in death. He then married Gloria (Mabe) Hammer, who also preceded him in death. He then married Mary Lou "Crickett" (Taft) on June 7, 2014, and she survives in Findlay.

Earl's survivors include his sons, Darryl (Naomi Trimble) Hammer, Todd (Carmen) Hammer, Tommy Myers, Bryan (Shelly) Taft, and Bret (Kristie) Routson; daughters, Shelley McQuistion, Tuesday (Del) Campbell, Tomma Hartz, Donna Hammer, Dolores Perez, and Kim Seibert; 28 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers; one sister; and son, Greg Hammer (who's fiancee, Karen Deroche, survives).

Earl was a member of Findlay Moose Lodge. He loved square and country dance, family cook-outs, and most of all, his family. He worked in construction, Graham Packaging, and later, Best Buy Distribution Center.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, until the time of Earl's funeral at 4 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky St., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
