Dustin E. A. Shively

Dustin Eric Alan Shively, of Fostoria, tragically lost his life on May 22, 2023, at the age of 39. Born May 11, 1984, in Findlay, Dustin was the first son of David and Lisa (Karn) Shively.

Dustin was a Lakota High School graduate and attended Terra State Community College. At the time of his death, Dustin was working with Ball Metal Corporation in Findlay.

Dustin enjoyed being outdoors with a special interest in cars, hiking, cycling, riding his motorcycle, disc golfing, and golfing in his spare time. He loved playing video games and tabletop games with his family, and they often enjoyed watching movies together. Dustin was an animal lover and had several cats and dogs. He also enjoyed cooking for loved ones and discovering new restaurants brought him joy.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lisa; his loving partner, Kasey Bonifacio; their two children, Olivia Shively, and Elliott Shively; brother, Matt Shively; sister, Shawna (Juan) Broadstock; four nieces; and two nephews. In addition to his father, David Shively, Dustin was preceded in death by grandparents, Michael and Karin "Omi" Shively; and grandmothers, Doris Karn, and Joyce Karn.

Friends and family may visit Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 1-3 p.m., and 5-8 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Dustin's funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31 in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. A private burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery in Troy, Ohio.
