Donna Ritajean (Mathias) Decker

Donna Ritajean (Mathias) Decker, 82, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at The Heritage in Findlay.

She was born Jan. 24, 1942, in Tiffin, to Roy and Wanda (Orians) Mathias. She married her husband, Robert, on March 21, 1964, who survives in Findlay, where together, they celebrated over 60 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Robert G. Decker Jr. and Kimberly (John) Fenimore; grandchildren, Alexander (Katee) Fenimore, Allyson (Adam) Lomeli, Morgan (Chris) Harris, Sophie (Tyge) Lopez, and Matthew (Vicki) Decker; five great-grandchildren; brother, Gene (Ethel) Mathias; and sister, Carol (John) Coleman.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Melissa Decker; and sister, Marilyn (Jack) Runion.

Above all, Donna was a genuinely kind and loving person. She spent her early married-life raising her children and then worked at City Laundry until she retired. She loved spending time with her family, whether it was at games of events, or at family Christmases where she would decorate, bake, cook, and give out more gifts than were ever needed. She also enjoyed dancing at Club 224 in Tiffin, where she met her husband many years ago.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, and 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, until the time of Donna's funeral at 11 a.m., all at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Private burial will take place at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay.
