Denis Minch Obituary
Denis Jacob Minch, 86, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Jan. 10, 2023, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
He was born March 8, 1936, in Continental, to George and Dessa (Zimmerman) Minch. He was united in marriage to Marlene (Balister) Minch on Feb. 23, 1973.
Denis was a Continental High School graduate and attended Case Institute of Technology. He proudly served his country in U.S. Army, stationed in Germany from 1958-1960. Denis happily retired from Phillips ECG, Ottawa, after 32 years of service to enjoy his favorite hobbies which included fishing, hunting, and traveling.
Denis is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Marlene; son, Roderick Minch of Vancouver, Washington; grandson, Nolan Minch of Vancouver; two nephews, Keith Minch and Brent Minch; and niece, Barbara Hubbel.
Denis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Minch; and nephew, Steven Minch.
Friends and family may visit 12-2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Denis' graveside service will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery with Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad performing full military rites.
