Del E. "DJ" Hetrick Jr.

Del Edward "DJ" Hetrick Jr., 34, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, in Toledo in bed with his pet dog, Cali.

He was born Jan. 29, 1989, in Findlay, to Rebecca Jones and Del E. Hetrick Sr.

DJ was a Findlay High School graduate and worked in construction through his best friend Cory Herrera's construction business. He loved sports and was a pitcher in his sports days. DJ will be sadly missed by all who know him. May God bless his soul and may he rest in peace forever more.

DJ is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rebecca (Leval) Jones; two beloved sons, Maysen Hetrick (15) and Maxten Hetrick (8); sister, Amy N. (Alexander) Dingus; grandmother, Donna K. Seek; many cousins, nieces, and nephews; best friend, Corey Herrera; and fiancé, Alyssa Hetrick.

He was preceded in death by his father, Del Sr.; grandfathers, Harold W. Seek and Delbert R. Hetrick; and uncle, Greg Seek.

Visitation for friends and family will be 1-3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500.

Memorial contributions in DJ's name can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
