Darwin Bushong Obituary
Darwin L. "Gar" Bushong Jr., 68, of Wharton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024.
He was born June 20, 1955.
Darwin is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally (Wright) Bushong; mother, Donna Bushong; children, Jennifer Bushong, Michelle (Brad) Davis, William (Lisa) Bushong, and Nichole (Juan) Flores; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathryn St. Clair; father, Darwin Bushong Sr.; brothers, Douglas and Daniel Bushong; and sister, Denise Pratt.
Darwin loved hunting, fishing, trips to Canada, and most of all, his family. He would brag about his grandchildren to anyone who would listen.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Darwin's funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery, Amanda Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Darwin to Riverdale FFA or Carey Athletic Boosters.

So Sorry to learn of JRs passing. I didn't learn of his passing until days after the services. He had sent me a message on New Years day, I text back but never heard anything more until I seen Darwin had passed away. So sorry. He was a solid guy who I'm proud to call my Friend.
