Daniel Siebeneck

Daniel Siebeneck, 79, of Leipsic, died 1:34 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born Jan. 11, 1943, in Leipsic, to the late Clarence H. and Elizabeth M. (Meyer) Siebeneck. In 1966, he married Patricia Otto, who preceded him in death in 1969. He married Carol Niese on Aug. 8, 1980, and she survives in Leipsic.

He is also survived by two children, Danielle (Shane) Kleman of Leipsic and Mike (Miranda) Siebeneck of Glandorf; four grandchildren, Aubrey, Grayden, and Maverick Kleman, and Kinsley Siebeneck; sister, Mary Scheckelhoff of Ottawa; brother, Bob (Sue) Siebeneck of Leipsic; sister-in-law, Marilyn Siebeneck of Glandorf; and brother-in-law, Steve Boewe of Texas.

Dan was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Siebeneck and Leon "George" Siebeneck; sister, Janet Boewe; and brother-in-law, Herb Scheckelhoff.

Dan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, and was a life-long farmer. He also worked for Allied Egri, Leipsic. Dan was a member of Leipsic Eagles and Ottawa K of C. Dan was a sprint car enthusiast.

Dan's funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic. There will be a scripture service 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
