Craig Allen Beining

Craig Allen Beining, 58, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 24, 2023, at his home.

He was born April 27, 1965, to Joseph and Arlene (Nartker) Beining, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bradley Beining.

He was a member of St Michael's Church and 1983 graduate of Findlay High School. After high school, he began working for OH Materials and during this time he developed a love of Mustangs. He purchased several and spent many hours fixing them up so he could drive them on the circuit in Findlay.

Craig loved soccer as a youth and played for Findlay City Soccer League. He also loved water and spent many hours swimming, boating, and skiing on the Maumee River with his family. He first moved to Florida in 1990 and worked as a diver for Crystal River where he helped rescue Manatees. He also spent some time in Tampa Bay, Florida, working at the stadium for the Buccaneers and worked as a security guard for several big-name musical artists.

Craig and his family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, after the birth of his first child, Lander, and remained there until his two kids completed high school. His children were the loves of his life. He worked as a casino host, meeting many new people and making lasting impressions on his guests and friends. He carried this through his later job while working in retail, as a sincere and lively employee. He enjoyed gardening and would dedicate lots of time and focus to nourishing his plants, the same way he cared for his personal relationships in life. He still had a love for cars, as well as playing games, spending time by the water, and playing numerous pranks on people, even strangers.

Craig leaves behind his son, Lander (21); daughter, Parker (19); and older brother, Michael.

Craig's celebration of life will be Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at So-Han-Co Lodge, 10560 Township Rd. 31, Arlington. There will be a brief ceremony at 11 a.m. followed by lunch.
