Christina Smith Obituary

Christina (Chilcote) Smith, 48, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on July 28, 2025, unexpectedly. She was born on March 9, 1977, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Christina enjoyed spending quality time with her family and her adventures in nature. She especially enjoyed going to Lake Michigan, camping, and canoeing. Christina was also an avid reader and a devoted Christian. She is survived by her spouse, John Chilcote; two daughters, Brianna Smith, 20, and Isabella Smith, 18; her father, John A. (Norma) Smith; Margaret L. (Roger) Hoevel; two brothers, Todd A. (Tammy) Smith and Joseph D. (Skyler); step-sister, Shawna J. Dunn; step-brother, C.J. Arnott; beloved cousin, Victoria M. (Kathy) Andrew; several nieces and nephews; and her much loved dog, Sampson. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Avalon Missionary Church - West Campus, 1500 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 beginning at 3:00pm.
