Charlene Archambault Obituary

Charlene (Baisden) Archambault, 85, of Vernon, passed away Thursday (December 15, 2022) at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain on January 8, 1937 to Charles and Minnie Baisden, she lived in Plainville for 59 years before moving to Vernon in 2019. Charlene was a graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1955 and a graduate of New Britain General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1959. She started her nursing career at New Britain General Hospital and continued as an industrial nurse in the local area. Charlene was a member of the former Stanley Memorial Church in New Britain and the Plainville Congregational Church. She was a lover of animals and also enjoyed taking trips to Bermuda.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Archambault of Moodus; Michael Archambault and his wife Margita of Manchester. Two grandchildren, Tallis and Alafair Archambault; two cousins, Barbara Helberg and Carolyn Erickson Davanzo; as well as a sister in law, Merle Baisden in Arizona. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Baisden.

Calling hours are Saturday (January 7, 2023) at 10 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain, followed by a brief service at 11 AM, also at Carlson Funeral Home.
