Caroleen Shepherd Obituary
Caroleen L. "Carol" (Watkins) Shepherd, 77, of Lima, passed away at 7:31 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Oct. 8, 1945, in Findlay, to Jimmy and LaDonna Hartman Watkins. She married David Shepherd Sr. on Jan. 19, 1980, and he survives.
Carol retired from American News and Marketing Company as an ambassador promoting products at Sam's Club. She loved working in her flowerbeds, babysitting her great-grandbabies, hosting family get-togethers, going to classic car shows, and her faithful pup, Dusty (Bucket). She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Carol is also survived by three sons, Brian Benson of Lima, Barry Benson of Findlay, and Mark (Tracy Ruble) Kahle of Lima; stepdaughter, Monica (Keith) Purcell of Shawnee; stepson, David (Rebecca) Shepherd Jr.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Diane Powell of Findlay; brother, Lynn Watkins of Rawson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, David Powell; sister-in-law, Deb Watkins; and great-grandson, Koda Bear.
Carol's funeral will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Kris Browning will officiate.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Allen County Humane Society.

Long time friends. She is missed, seeibg her doing foid sampling at Sams Club in Lima. Remember the days of our cookouts, Dave and Carol coming to them . So many of our goid friends like Frank Treglia are gone too that came to our cookouts.
