Barbara Settlemire Obituary
Barbara A. Settlemire, 58, of Leipsic, passed away at 2:02 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 16, 1964, in Bowling Green, to Robert A. and Lucille I. (Shenk) Busdiecker. She married Kevin Settlemire on Oct. 3, 1992, and he survives in Leipsic.
Barbara is also survived by three children, Nick (Kayla) Settlemire, Cody Settlemire, and AJ Settlemire, all of Leipsic; two grandsons, Xavier and Isaac Settlemire; and three brothers, Kurt Busdiecker of Toledo, Tim Busdiecker of Woodville, and Jim Busdiecker of Gibsonburg.
Barbara worked for KMI, Kalida, for 25 years. She was a member of Leipsic VFW Auxiliary and Findlay American Legion Auxiliary. Barbara loved spending time with her beloved dog, Grizzly, as well as her friends and family, especially her grandsons.
Barbara's funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic, with Pastor Laurie Beaty officiating. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2023, and 12-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Putnam County Homecare and Hospice.
