Barbara Price Obituary
Barbara A. Price, 84, of Forest, died at her residence Thursday, June 26, 2025. She was born July 12, 1940, in Forest, to the late Alvin & Martha (Benjamin) Spoon. She married Thomas R. Price June 8, 1958, he preceded her in death January 15, 2025. Surviving is a son, Scott Price, South Carolina; grandchildren, Thomas Seeley and Elizabeth (Sean) Price Crosby; great-grandchildren, John W. Seeley and Link Price Crosby; a sister, Ellen (Steve) Serr, Wisconsin.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Spoon Jr.; and a sister, Jean McDaniel.
Mrs. Price was a 1958 graduate of Forest High School. She was a member of Heritage Christian Union Church, where she served the church in various roles throughout her life. She was a homemaker, and she and her sister were interior designers with Fabric, Paper & Wood Decor, Findlay. Barbara was a master gardener.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Clark Shields Funeral Home, with Pastor Ken Gray officiating. Visitation is from 10-12 p.m. Tuesday July 1, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Christian Union Church or Forest Jackson Public Library in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home, 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.

Many happy memories of my cousin Barbara when we were teenagers. Her father and my mother were twins. We went to the junior-senior prom in 1957 with Tom and his friend in their white dress marine uniforms. So sorry to hear of her death. Shirley Gobrecht Starbuck.
