Andrew Peter Wolford

Andrew Peter Wolford, 36, of rural Forest, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, in Lima.

Andrew was born Dec. 6, 1987, in Bluffton, to David E. and Anna M. (Boehm) Wolford of rural Forest.

Andrew is survived by his brothers, Ryan (Misty Baldridge) Wolford of Carey and James Wolford of Fostoria; nephew, Anthony (Abby) Wolford of Centerville; nieces, Rylee and Mia Wolford, both of Fostoria; and special aunt, Nancy Heacock.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harley and Doris Wolford and Byron and Mildred Boehm; and uncle and aunt, Ronald and Marilyn Wolford.

Andrew was a 2006 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School and was a self-employed handyman. Andrew loved to work on cars, enjoyed drag racing, and he also liked off-roading and geo tracking. Andrew loved music, Cincinnati Bengals, and Michigan Wolverines football. Andrew spent one-and-a-half years at Trumbull Camp, Warren, where they offered college classes through Sinclair Community College, as he was worked towards an associate degree in business. While at camp, Andrew was selected to train dogs for the handicap with disabilities.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, until the time of Andrew's private-only funeral at 2 p.m. at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington. Pastor Steve Edmiston will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
