Alonso Sanchez Obituary
Alonso Sanchez, 71, of Findlay, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at home. He was born Nov. 12, 1950, in Webb County, Texas, to the late Ramon Sanchez and Maximina (Oveido) Sanchez. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Ramon Jr., Paul, and Arturo Sanchez; and sister, Guadalupa Salinas.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sanchez; two stepchildren, Gerald and Alicia Gibson; four grandchildren, Jordon, Hailey, Charlie, and Alex; three great-grandchildren; children, Michael, Jessenia, Alonso Jr., and Andrea; brothers, Manual (Cleva), Ramero, Robert (Cheryl), and Armondo; sisters, Ida Sanchez, Janie Lizcano, and Ofelia (Gilbert) Bernal; and many nieces and nephews.
Alonso retired from St. Michael's school after 28 years. He enjoyed listening and dancing to Mexican music and playing pool with his brothers and friends. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Family and friends may call 4-5 p.m. Friday Sept. 30, 2022, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Ave., Findlay. Alonso's funeral will follow at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials made be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.

Al was such a joy to work with at St. Michael's. He could light up a room with his smile! I have such wonderful memories of him. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
