Alice Maureen Bibler

Alice Maureen Bibler, 83, of Findlay, passed peacefully Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022. She was born Aug. 7, 1939, in Moorland, Iowa, to Claude and Helen (McCarville) Lawrence.

Alice graduated from Webster City High School, class of 1957. After graduation, she enlisted in U.S Navy and attended Radioman "A" School. Alice supported her family working at Ashland Oil Inc. as a gatekeeper. In her spare time, she loved reading, knitting, and crocheting. Alice married William E. Bibler and together, they traveled the country in their recreational vehicle. They were long-time members of Arlington United Methodist Church and Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation.

Alice was an accomplished woman, but she considered being a mother and grandmother her biggest accomplishments.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Theresa L. (Jeff) Thomas; sons, Daniel E. (Lori) Clements and Timothy D. (Jorgenia) Clements; grandchildren, Greg, Adam, Ben, Kyle, Deanna, Gipsie, Rebecca, and Ike; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Oliver, Lily, Cassie, Quinn, Amara, Feydra, Sophia, Ayden, Rowan, Mia, and Lydia; and sisters, Mary Craven and Mildred (Richard) Olsen.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Deanna E. Clements; sons, Joseph M. Clements and Matthew J. Clements; her parents; and sisters, Margaret Atchison and Delores Lawrence.

Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 West Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Committal services will be private. Online condolences may be shared at www.coldrencrates.com.
