Wilbur Bracy Obituary
Wilbur L. Bracy, 90, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
Wilbur was born Jan. 31, 1934, in Bluffton, to Homer and Gladys (Kimmel) Bracy. He married Frances Risner Bracy on Sept. 30, 1956, and she preceded him in death July 26, 2010.
Wilbur graduated from Bluffton High School. He was an electrician for Ex-Cello/Pure-Pak in Bluffton. Wilbur was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Bluffton, and also Bluffton Sportsmen's Club and American Legion Post #382. He was a proud veteran of U.S. Army and took great pride in being a resident of Bluffton. Wilbur enjoyed fishing, walking, playing euchre, and was an avid Ohio sports fan.
Wilbur's survivors include two children, Jennifer Bracy of Bluffton and Stephen (Robin) Bracy of Bay Village; and sister, Sara McCune of Bluffton.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Gene Bracy and John Bracy.
Wilbur's services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Jeremy Mann will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton, following the service. Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ, 223 W. College Avenue, Bluffton, Ohio, 45817.

It was so sad to hear about Will. End of an era as Staci said. So, so sorry we won´t be able to come due to Kim´s heart surgery. Staci is planning to come. Of course, Brad can´t come as he is deployed. Our thoughts will be with all of you. Much love, Kim & Nell
